Program is very easy to use, is reasonably priced, and allows me to buy a lot of time at work.

The script speaker glitches sometimes, and it does not identify voies as well as I hoped for.

What problems is Notta solving and how is that benefiting you?

Transcribing videos instead of me needing to write them is really helpful. One place I'd love improving is having the way paragraphs are broken down match the speakers, so there is. clear back-and forth. I love that you automatically remove fillers like "um" and "like", but it would also be great to have voices and speakers be more easily identifiable. I do save a lot of time not manually transcribing, but I often still have to review the whole video so i assign the correct speaker to the correct lines.

What do you dislike about Notta?

Notta employs misleading practices with its "3-day free trial." I started my trial on September 11th at 21:51, expecting it to last until the end of September 14th. However, they charged me $107.99 at 22:21 on the 14th, before the trial period should have ended.

Their billing details state only the "expiration date," without specifying the exact time, creating deliberate ambiguity. It's not until after being charged that you find, buried in the Q&A, that they calculate the trial down to the hour. This lack of transparency appears designed to trap customers into unwanted charges.

Such practices could violate both the EU's Unfair Contract Terms Directive and Hong Kong's Trade Descriptions Ordinance, which require clear, fair, and transparent terms. Notta's approach seems intentionally deceptive and is not recommended for anyone seeking a trustworthy service.

What is impressive is the transcription and the speed at which it is done.

What do you dislike about Notta?

The problem is the understanding of the non-native language, which is different from English, because when transcribing into Portuguese, many errors appear, mainly due to the phonetic understanding of words and associations that sometimes generate pejorative names in the non-native language.

In addition, the interface needs to be improved a lot to be more user-friendly and the tutorial is very weak and flawed.

It would be advisable to have a non-native language consultant to assist in the transcription process and improve capture.

The overall tool is cumbersome and has a number is program issues. the system dhould identify the voices and automatically apply the association to each voice. This didn't happen here. It was hoorible. I had to go through and apply the speaker to each conversation.

The interface, while user-friendly, isn't as sophisticated as those of more established platforms, which can sometimes make navigating features less intuitive. Additionally, the note-taking component doesn't always capture details with the same depth as some competing tools, which might require supplementary note-taking to ensure nothing is missed. These issues, though manageable, can hinder the overall user experience and effectiveness, particularly in fast-paced academic settings.
