What do you like best about Dictalogic?

I love how technology has made our lives so much easier with softwares like this. It has so many options from audio to text, speech to text,, conversation to text, etc. I wish i had this in college!

What do you dislike about Dictalogic?

Not all words will be picked up correctly which is normal, cant understand everyone all the time

What problems is Dictalogic solving and how is that benefiting you?

When I need to multi task , this helps catch everything I may have forgotten.

What do you like best about Dictalogic?

Dictalogic is simple to use, easy to manage, and has great integration. I am able to coordinate with our Microsoft 365 account, able to setup users easily, and support is quick to respond.

What do you dislike about Dictalogic?

Not much to dislike about dictalogic, it just works well.

What problems is Dictalogic solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use this for dictation with our law firm, and the attorneys who use it love it.

What do you like best about Dictalogic?

One big issue for us that our previous dictation solution did not have a resolution for was being able to assign a dictation to a group rather than a single user. We have a group that transcribes and they rotate shifts so they have different people working everyday. Being able to assign to a group allows us to assign to this etire group and then whomever is available can accept the dictation. This saves the dictator valuable time in trying to figure out who is working at a particular time and available to assign to. This also cuts out the frustration of assigning to someone only to find out that they are out of the office and your dictation has been sitting untouched. Big help for us!

What do you dislike about Dictalogic?

One downside is having to enter in each user and manually choose all of the account options when you have 20 users who are going to be setup with the exact same settings. It would be great to have the option to create a template for the secretary role and a template for the author role so that next time you need to add another user with one of those roles, you can select that template which will automatically select the appropriate account options.

Recommendations to others considering Dictalogic:

Pull the trigger! It is a great low-cost cloud option. Easy to setup and intuitive enough to pick up quickly.

What problems is Dictalogic solving and how is that benefiting you?

Dictalogic software enables our users to dicate at their desk or on the go with the mobile app and send for future transcription. It works well with external mics and foot pedals. In addition to traditional transcription, they also have a beta "conversation" feature that we've tested for recorded hearings and depositions. While not perfect, this feature works great to pick apart speakers and transcribe in an easy-to-edit conversation view.

What do you like best about Dictalogic?

The support is what we like best about Dictalogic. To us, the software is only as good as the support that comes with it. The Support Team at Dictalogic is excellent. The turnaround time on an issue, when there is one has been fantastic!

What do you dislike about Dictalogic?

The only downside about Dictalogic, like any cloud base product is you are relying heavily on the Support Team when there is an issue. However, as I mentioned earlier, their Support Team has been fantastic.

I would recommend doing a trial period to see if the software is right for your organization.

What problems is Dictalogic solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of the business challenges that Dictalogic helped us resolve is on-site equipment. With Dictalogic, the majority of the work is done in the cloud. The other challenge it helps resolve is time-saving as it converts speech to text. I feel like it’s a set-it-and-forget-it type of software. The software is very customizable.

The other big challenge it help us resolve was cost!

What do you like best about Dictalogic?

Dictalogic is incredibly easy to use. The mobile apps allows our staff to dictate from anywhere, and is an effective use of time. The support teams are always accessible and happy to help. From a management perspective, the reporting features allow us to workflows and allocate resources appropriately.

What do you dislike about Dictalogic?

Some of the issues we were having could be put down to user error but others were kinks in the system that needed input from the Dictalogic team (which they were extremely accessible and were able to rectify straight away). The issues referred to include:

A secretary was finding her footpedal options were sometimes actioning in reverse. It was discovered only one Dictalogic window could be open at a time.

A practitioner was recording dictations and was losing work upon submission. An update to the app was required.

We would highly recommend reaching out to the team and trialing this product. It was easy to set up, and the comparisons speak for themselves.

The old system we were on was costly to the business. The reporting features were antiquated and subpar. We sometimes struggled gaining input from the team when issues were presented and recommendations where provided.
