What do you like best about Chatfuel?

I run a very small business that sells used baby strollers and relies on customers placing orders via Facebook Messenger. We set up Chatfuel to automate the initial part of the conversation (what model, what colors, what budget, what time constraints and so on) and it has worked well - it was well worth the $15 we initially paid per month. We set it up once and have only gone in to do small adjustments to the chatflow over the 3 years we've been using it and this step was easy enough.

What do you dislike about Chatfuel?

The Chatfuel pricing structure. The reason I am writing this review is to make it visible that Chatfuel will automatically increase your plan each month by default as your amount of "subscribers" increases. What I didn't understand was that ALL conversations are saved as "reachable" inside of Chatfuel and thus will contribute to your monthly price. Looking over my bills over the last 3 years that I have been a customer and it has been increased 5 times in that time due to increased "usage" - here's the thing, we see the same active usage every month. It's just the pool of finished conversations, marked as "done" on Facebook that are inflating the bill.

My subscription went from $15 to $66 and I feel like it happened without my approval. I contacted the support team about this and the agent I connected with, Larisa, told me there's nothing she can do - so, reading between the lines, it is my own fault that I didn't disable this autoscaling feature in their settings.

I am an Account Manager with another SaaS company. If one of my clients reached out to me with this type of issue, I would try to do something to ease the friction.

These guys? They do not care.

What problems is Chatfuel solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use Chatfuel to take care of the first step of the customer journey (qualifying leads) so that we can take over when the Bot has gotten all the basic information from the client about hte order they would liek to place.

What do you like best about Chatfuel?

Chatfuel is a straightforward platform that even thode without prior knowledge in chatbot development can use. Its simpe to use , powerful and scalable. Chatfuel has a wide range of features that allow users to complex chatbots.

What do you dislike about Chatfuel?

Chatfuel does not offer as many functions and for business with great audience can be expensive for them. Rest of things I am liking the most apart from these two concern I have not found any kind of problem or disadvantage in Chatfuel.

What problems is Chatfuel solving and how is that benefiting you?

First of all Chatfuel can be used by any size of organisation. This user friendly tool allows for quick and accurate chatbot development, saving lot of time and resources.Best thing which I get the most of the benefit that is its versatility because it supports integration such as whatsapp,Facebook and Instagram so I can connect with my target audience via their prefrrred channel of communication.

What do you like best about Chatfuel?

I used the blocks way to create a bot. Now I switched to flows and I love it ! Easy to understand, easy to manage, no skill in code needed, it's perfect !

And, it works !

I also like the way to manage time to time non recognised answers and act on what to say when a users types that, and those statistic features.

What do you dislike about Chatfuel?

It's very specific but my price plan was not adapted for my usage. After a talk with the chatfuel team they solved it by adapting it and now it's perfect !

What problems is Chatfuel solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Chatfuel for a small game I created through the messenger chatbot. Now I can manage my game and the new flows even gives me ideas for some more !

What do you like best about Chatfuel?

Chatfuel has allowed us to reallocate our time to more pressing matters. It's so useful to set up several paths of communications with our audience, giving them assistance without needing to take up our limited bandwidth!

What do you dislike about Chatfuel?

Sometimes Chatfuel can be challenging to use if you don't have a developer—I wonder how many features Chatfuel has that we're not utilizing because we just don't know how to use it.

We get a lot of inqueries from people who are looking for support. Chatfuel allows us to respond to people at any time, giving them the option to select what best describes them so we can recommend the best resource.

What do you like best about Chatfuel?

The functionality and responsiveness of the AI to our constituents.

What do you dislike about Chatfuel?

It can be a bit confusing to setup. We ran into a major issue in setup with our New pages experience.

What problems is Chatfuel solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps us manage a plethora of incoming communications. It is able to direct people before needing to talk to a rep.
